AIRHORN SYMPHONY
A full airhorn melody. MLG orchestra hall.
WHAT IT IS
Seven horn blasts arranged into an actual melody — verse, development, and a big sagging finale — drenched in stadium echo. It's the airhorn promoted from sound effect to lead instrument.
THE LORE
The logical endpoint of airhorn culture was always the airhorn as a musical voice. Montage-parody editors of the 2010s were already pitch-shifting horn blasts into melodies as a joke about excess; the bit works because the airhorn is the least melodic object imaginable, and forcing it to sing is inherently absurd.
Our symphony leans in: a composed seven-note phrase with vibrato on every blast, real harmonic movement (it climbs, peaks, and resolves downward), and a cathedral-sized delay. It is completely serious about being completely unserious, which is the premium tier of internet audio.
WHEN TO DEPLOY IT
- Moments that a single airhorn cannot legally contain.
- Scoring championship celebrations, real or spiritual.
- The final slide of a quarterly presentation. Ask forgiveness, not permission.
- Birthday messages for people who understand you.
HOW WE BUILT IT
The same detuned saw-stack horn voice as our standard airhorn — two saws ±9 cents, a square for bite, a sub-octave saw — but every blast carries 5.5 Hz vibrato, giving it an opera-singer wobble. The melody steps through B♭, up to C♯ and E♭, and resolves with a 900 ms final blast sagging to G. A long 240 ms delay at 50% feedback supplies the arena acoustics; heavy drive supplies the disrespect.
Like every sound on gyatdamn.com, this one is 100% original synthesized audio — no samples, no ripped clips. Read why we build everything from raw waveforms.
