THE SOUND LIBRARY

Every sound on gyatdamn.com has a page, and every page has receipts. We cover the meme lore behind the sound — where the archetype came from, why the internet adopted it — plus field notes on when to deploy it and a breakdown of how we actually built the audio.

About that last part: none of these are ripped clips. All 20 sounds are synthesized from scratch — pure math generating sine waves, sawtooths, square waves, and filtered noise — which is why you can use them in videos, streams, and edits without copyright anxiety. The full story is in why we synthesized everything. Prefer pressing buttons to reading? The soundboard awaits.

THE CLASSICS

The load-bearing sounds of internet comedy — booms, horns, stings, and rolls.

BASS & DROPS

Low-end events. Anything in this section is felt before it is heard.

CHAOS UTILITIES

Whistles, bonks, sparkles, and silence — precision tools for unserious situations.

RETRO / 8-BIT

Square-wave jingles fluent in the dialect of 1980s console hardware.

WANT THE DEEP CUTS?

The blog covers the bigger stories: the anatomy of a great meme sound, a history of soundboards from the flash-era web to now, and how to actually route a soundboard into Discord or OBS without your voice sounding like a fax machine.
